Dandelion Readers, Level 3 Combo: 14 book sets plus photocopiable workbook

Dandelion Readers, Level 3 introduce four or five spellings for each vowel sound eg. Book 1 'Jake, the Snake' introduces the spelling of 'ai', 'ay', 'a', 'a-e' and 'ae' for the sound 'ae'.

The workbook complements the sets of books - the fourteen chapters correspond to the 14 books in the set, offering phonic work within the context of the stories. They are photocopiable programmes of work for pupils who need further practice in blending, segmenting, spelling and reading comprehension. They can be used in mainstream class settings, for group work or individual tuition.

The workbook is linked to the stories in the books making the activities relevant and contextual. Some activities should be introduced before reading the books and others, such as comprehension, should be introduced after reading the books.
