Using Adjectives to Describe

Students using short, choppy sentences can learn to communicate in more interesting and illustrative ways by adding descriptive elements. One side of each card presents a vibrant photograph. On the reverse, a directive to describe the photo is stated, followed by three optional prompts to elicit an adjective. Below the prompts is an impressive vocabulary bank with words referencing the photo.
