The Learning Intervention Manual CD-ROM is a Windows®-compatible product designed to be used in conjunction with the Learning Intervention Manual. It provides the user with the ability to maintain individual student reports, the ability to print appendix pages, and three report options:

  • Individualized Intervention Program generates a printout of chosen goals, objectives, and intervention strategies to be implemented for a student prior to any formal assessment.
  • Intervention Strategies Documentation Form provides a report of chosen intervention strategies and dates of implementation. The implementer indicates which intervention strategies have been successful/unsuccessful for each behaviour.
  • Functional Behavior Assessment documents each area of the functional behaviour assessment process including antecedents, goals, objectives, and intervention strategies for each selected behaviour.

What else do I need to use the Intervention Manual CD?

All Hawthorne Educational Services, Inc., software programs must be used with the companion hard-copy manual and/or rating form.

Can the software be used by more than one person?

The software on the CD only allows a single concurrent user. It is can be installed on a shared network drive, however, users accessing it remotely can only use the software one at a time, just as if they were physically in front of the computer.

Is a site licence or multi-user licence available?

Multi-site licenses are available for intervention manual programs at an additional cost after the full purchase price of one program. The multi-site license grants the user the right to install the software at three sites (i.e., three computers). Each installation allows a single concurrent user, so the multi-site licence allows three concurrent users.

Can I return the CD if I decide its not what I want?

Software that has been opened or downloaded may not be returned. You can either use the demonstration disk included with some CDs or the downloadable demo to evaluate the software. You can return the software as long as the shrink-rap on the main software CD has not been opened.

"Error attempting to load the Crystal Reports runtime" when trying to work with reports on a 64-bit Windows 7 Computer

Insert the installation disk. Use "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer" to open the drive the disk is in (typically D or E). In the Crystal Reports folder there are 2 files, one ending in x64 and one in x86. Double-click on the x86 to install the Crystal Reports runtime. After this file runs you should be able to go to the Intervention Manual software and work with reports.
