Henry is a duck (not a drake) with a traumatic past and a fear of water. She makes herself at home on a houseboat at Porters Landing with Jezz. A duck shooter and a body floating in the river are frightening for them both, but the police are not interested. They think Jezz's reports an environmental publicity stunt. The duck shooter needs to get rid of the corpse. He tries to hide it under the bed on the houseboat. That's where Jezz and the duck are hiding. Jezz's father is trying to save the wetlands, but maybe the real saviour of Porters Landing will be the duck.
