Gillian Ashley is Chief Development Officer of The British Dyslexia Association, an organisation that aims to influence government and other institutions to promote a dyslexia friendly society that enables dyslexic people of all ages to reach their full potential.

In addition to her role at The British Dyslexia Association, Gillian serves as a Dyslexia Consultant for Audley Dyslexia Consultancy, as well as serving as a Lecturer at Chester University.  In July 2020, Gillian Ashley appeared on a Leaders Council of Great Britain & Northern Ireland podcast, discussing the importance of leadership and the impact it has had on her career to date.
