Phonix Phonics Word-Building Cards Pack Of 48

These cards encourage children to build a number of familiar words, each of which contain a blend. Children should be encouraged to identify the various sounds and find corresponding cubes to complete the word. The first 4 cards in each group have coloured-coded dots to help children recognise  the different segments of each word. The remainder of the cards are uncoded. Follow-up activities could include:

• finding rhyming words
• changing one letter or blend to make another word
• writing the words into exercise book

These cards are designed for use with Phonix Cubes which can be purchased separately.
