Nancy Mather

Nancy Mather, Ph.D., is a professor at the University of Arizona n the Department of Disability and Psychoeducational Studies. Her main area of interest is learning disabilities with an emphasis on assessment and reading and writing disabilities. She received her doctorate from the University of Arizona in 1985 in learning disabilities with minor areas of study in reading and school psychology.

Dr. Mather conducts workshops on assessment and instruction both nationally and internationally. She has written numerous articles and has co-authored a number of leading programs and texts. In addition, she is a co-author of the Woodcock-Johnson (a widely used standardised test) and conducts research and training in its use.
