How to improve Reading Comprehension
More Details

Bernadette McLean, Principal of the UK's Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre, gave a great talk at the recent Learning Difference Convention in Sydney. Her deep knowledge and experience in helping those with dyslexia was obvious to all who attended her talk. There were a few "light-bulb" moments and lots of practical ideas, particularly for helping to improve reading comprehension for those with dyslexia.

If you couldn't be there, you can still get the benefit of Bernadette's immense experience by purchasing Target Reading Comprehension which sets out her program to improve reading skills so that readers are competent to tackle all texts. This great resource provides a systematic set of activities for teachers and classroom assistants to use to improve a reader's comprehension of the written word.

For a limited time we are offering a special price on Bernadette McLean's Target Reading Comprehension and on Anyone Can Spell It - the brand new book from the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre. These are great resources to help those with dyslexia overcome two of their fundamental challenges - reading comprehension and spelling.

The Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre is one of the world's leading centres of excellence for dyslexia: it was the first Dyslexia Centre in the UK and Helen Arkell has been honoured by the Queen as the Dyslexia Pioneer of the 20th Century.
