Does Silvereye Send Titles Out 'On Approval'?

No, we do not send any of our titles on approval. There are many reasons why we  have come to this decision and you are free to ask us. However, we do not expect  you to keep a title that is unsuitable and we will exchange. Postage must be paid by the customer both ways.

Does Silvereye Have An Outlet?

Silvereye now has a retail outlet open to the public. Our hours are from 9am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday, however, if you wanted to make an appointment to come outside these hours, please contact us and we would be happy to arrange a time with you. If there are specific areas or titles you are interested in, please contact us prior to coming, as we are often attending conferences and not all titles will be available to view.

How Can We Pay For An Order If We Don't Want To Give Credit Card Details Over The Internet?

Is Silvereye Open During School Holidays?
 
Silvereye is a business which is open all year round except over the Christmas  Holidays. We usually take a break until early January and on Public Holidays.

Do You Have A Hardcopy Catalogue?
Upon request we can send you our catalogue which we update yearly.

How Long Will It Take To Get My Order?

If books are in stock, turnaround time is usually 7-10 days.
Backordered titles depend on whether the title/s are being ordered in from  overseas or from an Australian Publisher.
We order our overseas shipment every quarter, so there is usually only a short  wait for titles.
Backordered titles may also be under reprint or not yet published.
Please be patient as it can take some time to be advised when titles will become  available.

Silvereye's Terms of Trade

• Silvereye Educational Publications trades on a Firm Sale basis.
• Please choose your order carefully returned goods Will Not be accepted without authorisation.
• If returns are made without authorisation, publications will be returned to the purchaser, costs will still be charged to your account and no credit given.
• Postage and Handling costs on all orders are at the customer's expense and is in addition to all indicated prices in Silvereye's Catalogues.
• Postage is charged by weight, rates below are for orders under $100.00.
• Postage Rates: $10.00 (small order surcharge) Newcastle Areas; $11.50 (smal order surcharge) NSW; $12.60 (small order surcharge) All other States and Territories
• All Backorders are subject to a Freight Charge
• International Orders are subject to weight and destination
• Prices are subject to change at anytime. You are welcome to check current prices with Silvereye prior to placing an order.
• All Accounts are strictly 14 Days from date of invoice and are payable on the invoice. (No Statement will be issued)
• An Account Administration fee of 10% of invoice value will be charged for outstanding accounts over 30 days (from invoice date) and $2.20 for replacement copies of an invoice. Accounts that exceed ninety (90) days will be forwarded to a legal representative and all additional costs associated are to be borne by the customer.
• Pre-payment is required for personal, organisations and overseas orders.
• Credit card facilities are available for Visa and Master Card, for orders over $20.00. Payment by cheque is acceptable subject to clearance, and must be made out to Silvereye Educational Publications Pty Ltd.
• Silvereye Educational Publications does not give credits in cheque/cash or credit on credit card. Credits are added to accounts for future purchases.
• We are able to order publications and videos/dvds which are not in the catalogue but for overseas titles there is a waiting period of 10-12 weeks for delivery. These are classed as Special Orders and are also strictly Firm Sale.
