Dr. Jackie Lown has been a practising teacher and educational psychologist since 1982. She is currently Principal Educational Psychologist and Head of Behaviour Support Service in the East Riding of Yorkshire. As well as being a practising Educational Psychologist for many years in Local Authorities, Jackie has also been Co-Director of Educational Psychology training at the University of Sheffield. In 1999, Jackie was a member of the DfEE working group set up as part of the Special Needs Action Programme. Jackie is an experienced researcher and trainer, delivering sessions for professionals throughout this country and abroad. Particular interests include circle time, self-esteem, anger management, psychological resilience and emotional literacy. She has several publications covering these topics.
